In The Beginning

Volusia’s Best is a completely new program in the Volusia County market to serve existing companies. No brand awareness existed and the program’s stakeholders wanted an effective way to raise the visibility. Our team setup and launched Facebook and Twitter accounts and immediately utilizing social media advertising tools to reach Volusia County business owners.
 

How It Happened

We met with the program’s stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives. During this meeting, our team identified the core advantages of this program and how it differed from other programs in the marketplace. We used this information to tailor the social media messages so they would be meaningful for our target market. In a relatively short period of time, our social media strategy has gained significant attention for Volusia’s Best and helped accelerate its market penetration.

In The Beginning

1 Million Cups had a strong base of followers but lacked consistent content distribution. In addition, Facebook and Twitter were not be leveraged to their full potential. Integrating the use of hashtags on Twitter helped draw in new followers and distribute the content to a broader audience. The key was in identifying the hashtags that would be effective for 1 Million Cups. We built new content by attending the weekly 1 Million Cups presentations and interviewing attendees on what they were getting from participating.
 

How It Happened

Through our existing relationship with SBDC Daytona, we recommended a social media program to boost the awareness for the SBDC using 1 Million Cups and vice versa. Since both programs are targeted at assisting entrepreneurs and business owners this enabled us to cross-promote activities and draw attention to both resources. The results have shown more people are engaging with both programs to grow their ideas and existing businesses.

In The Beginning

SBDC Daytona already had a substantial social media presence when our team was invited to help. The challenge was two-fold: engagement and distribution. A lot of information was being posted through their accounts but little user engagement was occurring. In addition, the distribution (total reach) was limited and inconsistent. We took a serious look at how the SBDC could utilize the programs, events, workshops and one-on-one consulting sessions to encourage other businesses and entrepreneurs to utilize their services.
 

How It Happened

We met with the SBDC Daytona team and asked detailed questions about why people came to their center to get business help and how that assistance impacted their business. Using this information, we came up with content strategies like client success stories and combined those with the social media advertising tools for distribution. The results have proved to be amazing. In addition, we meet with the team on a regular basis, participate in their events and attend client visits to capture relevant content.

In The Beginning

A limited social media presence was online for KO Floors. A Facebook business page existed but no new content was being added and the last time the page had been updated was more than 1 year ago. Everything had become stale and no user engagement existed. In addition, the page wasn’t cross-linked on their website so little promotion was being done. We immediately tuned-up the page and launched a Twitter account to build out KO Floor’s social media efforts.
 

How It Happened

We met with the owner of the company and showed him the current situation. At the same time, we brought to the table the pages of some of his competitors for comparison. Then we asked a series of questions to learn about the business and its goals. Using this information, we developed a social media advertising campaign and recommendations for content development. We meet with the business owner once a month to review the activity.

A social media presence was already established for TailgatingBus.com but the accounts started to become stale. We reviewed and updated Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to ensure consistency across the platforms. We then launched targeted social media advertising campaigns to engage customers.
 

How It Happened

We connected with the company’s CEO through a mutual contact and started discussing the goals for TailgatingBus.com. Based on this information, we completed a competitor analysis and target market identification report. This allowed us to tailor the social media advertising program to a niche market. In the Beginning

FLVEC didn’t have any social media presence and wanted a practical plan to raise the visibility for Florida’s entrepreneurial community using a grass-roots approach. The goal was to foster a strong and engaging following while at the same time building brand recognition.

How it Happened

We started by meeting with the organization’s stakeholders to understand their vision of the entrepreneurial community they wanted to build. Based on this information, our team developed a social media strategy that focused on promoting the entrepreneurs already in Florida, delivering updates on business news and events and cross-promoting other business resource agencies from around Florida. Regular reports were provided to the stakeholders along with recommendations for how the social media campaign could be enhanced.

DDR Roofing already had their social media accounts active but updates were limited, there was no consistency across the accounts and followers were not engaged. In addition, no reviews were listed so potential customers didn’t have a way to gauge the quality of their work. We completed a thorough updating of all of their accounts to bring consistency and then launched our targeted campaigns to build brand awareness in the marketplace for their roofing services.
